Two Langford homes broken into through the garage – Times Colonist

Both break-ins were in the area of Leigh Road and Trillium Road near Langford Lake

West Shore RCMP are warning people to lock their home and vehicle doors after two reports of residences being broken into through the garage early Monday.

Both were in the area of Leigh Road and Trillium Road near Langford Lake.

In one case, the garage door was left unlocked and in the other, a garage-door opener was found in an unlocked vehicle and used to gain entry.

“It’s a good habit to check your doors and windows at night before heading to bed and avoid leaving your garage-door openers in the car overnight,” said Cpl. Nancy Saggar.

Call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 with any information on the two incidents.
